Key Responsibilities:

Regional and corporate hospital specific contract management efforts through the development of strategic sourcing contracts between vendors and partnering hospitals of 3SO for capital / non capital services and supplies.

Operational leadership for a site procurement team that will ensure value for money is considered in every purchase decision.
-
Building and maintaining productive and mutually beneficial relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure most effective sources of supply and services
-
Developing and maintaining a superior customer focused and collaborative team building approach compile, facilitate and evaluate negotiations on behalf of equity member partners utilizing proven negotiation tools and processes
-
Reviewing and interpreting vendor contract terms and conditions and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of evolving client needs, industry trends and procurement best practices and processes.
Essential qualifications:
-
SAP experience in a material management module
-
Proficient computer skills with advanced MS Office applications.

Effective written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem solving skills
-
A satisfactory Criminal Reference Check
Preferred qualifications:
-
7 years relevant work experience preferably within an Shared Service Organization or multi-site healthcare organization
Education requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent related experience combined with CPP, CSCP or PMAC certification

Responsible for the effectiveness of the forecast process, including liaison with Sales, Marketing, Materials Management, and Finance to produce a reasonable forecast, reflective of business direction. To make effective use of resources to minimize the error with reasonable effort, incorporate judgments and consensus and to produce a forecast for Materials Management. Manages the activities related to the inbound supply chain for Cardinal, Carefusion and Stockless businesses.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Demand Planning processes, roles and responsibilities, and forecast exception management

Responsible for inbound supply planning for Cardinal, Carefusion and Stockless businesses

Responsible for forecast review and consensus process that links the demand plan to sales revenue budget, account planning, and marketing initiatives

Responsible for demand planning accuracy measurement and attainment

Responsible for statistical forecasting

Responsible to apply forecast judgment
-
Responsible for forecast measurements for planner and region, and track for progress

Responsible for reporting requirements - construct reports, distribute and implement

Responsible for setting and attaining goals and objectives for the area

Responsible for staff training, development, and performance appraisals
Essential qualifications:
-
A minimum of 5 years Materials Management experience
-
A minimum of 2 years leadership experience
-
Strong systems background (Demand Solutions experience considered an asset)

University education or equivalent
-
Strong analytical and business skills required
-
Comfortable with understanding, conversing in and utilizing the various software programs, tools and technologies that Source Medical operates

Capability of high confidentiality level
-
Proven communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)

Preference given to those with a PMAC or PLOG designation
Preferred qualifications:

Preference given to those with a PMAC or PLOG designation or MBA
